Ingredients

  • 8 oz Noodles, spaghetti, udon, or rice noodles

  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp Chili flakes, optional

  • 1 tsp Sesame seeds
  • 1/2 cup Shredded carrots, optional
  • 1/2 cup Bell peppers, thinly sliced, optional

Instructions

Boil the noodles

  • Fill a large pot with water and bring to a boil. Add the noodles and cook until al dente. Drain and toss with a little sesame oil.

Prepare the garlic

  • Peel and finely mince the garlic. Garlic is the star of this dish, giving it a rich, aromatic flavor that fills your kitchen.

Make the sauce

  • In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, and chili flakes. Stir well to combine and adjust sweetness or salt to taste.

Sauté the garlic

  • Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant but not burned.

Add vegetables

  • Add shredded carrots and bell peppers if using. Stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until slightly tender but still crisp.

Combine noodles and sauce

  • Add the drained noodles to the skillet. Pour the sauce over the noodles. Toss everything together until noodles are fully coated.

Garnish and serve

  • Sprinkle chopped green onions and sesame seeds on top. Serve warm and enjoy immediately for the best flavor.
