Ingredients

For Wings:

  • Chicken wings = 3 lbs
  • All purpose flour = ½ cup
  • Salt = 1 tsp
  • Paprika = 1 tbsp
  • Black pepper = 1 tsp

For Sauce:

  • Sweet Baby Ray's Original BBQ Sauce = ¾ cup
  • Soy sauce = 1 tbsp
  • Honey = ¼ cup
  • Franks red hot sauce = ¼ cup
  • Crushed red pepper = ¼ tsp
  • Granulated garlic = 1 tbsp
  • Brown sugar = 2 tbsp

Instructions

  • Take a bowl and add all-purpose flour, paprika, black pepper, and salt. Mix them to make a seasoned flour mixture.
  • Carefully cut the wings in half in such a way that their tips are still on. Dust them with the seasoned flour mixture. Transfer to a plate and refrigerate for half an hour.
  • Take a saucepan and add honey, Sweet Baby Ray's Original BBQ Sauce, Soy sauce, Frank's red hot sauce, Crushed red pepper, Granulated garlic, and Brown sugar. Mix the ingredients and cook them together on a medium heat. Heat until they come to a boil. Then lessen the heat and simmer the sauce for 5 minutes.
  • In the meantime, preheat the grill to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Set it up in an indirect cooking mode.
  • Take out the floured wings from the refrigerator and place them on the preheated grill. Grill for 15 minutes and then turn the sides of the wings. Grill the other side for 15 minutes also.
  • When the wings seem to be crispy and golden brown, remove them from the grill.
  • Increase the temperature of the grill to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Toss the grilled wings in the sauce you prepared earlier. Then put them back on the grill. Grill for a few minutes until the sauce starts to caramelize. Transfer the wings to the serving plate and serve with your favorite dipping sauce. Bon Appetit!
