Instructions for Making Stuffed Ziti Fritta  Recipe

Following is a detailed description of the method on how to make Stuffed Ziti Fritta:

Step 1

Cook the rigatoni pasta according to the instructions of the manufacturer and drain water from it. Rinse the pasta under cold water and place it on a side.

Step 2

Take a medium-sized bowl and add cream cheese, ricotta cheese, parmesan cheese, and mozzarella cheese in it.  Mix them all well to make a well-incorporated cheese mixture.

Step 3

Fill this cheese mixture into a piping bag and cut from the corner. Fill each piece of cooked rigatoni pasta with this cheese mixture.

Step 4

Now take a shallow dish. Crack open 2 large eggs and beat them well. Then add water and whisk both of them together. Take another shallow dish and add all-purpose flour to it. In yet another dish, add bread crumbs, granulated garlic, salt, and black pepper and combine them to make a mixture.

Step 5

Take the first batch of stuffed rigatoni pasta and dredge it in the all-purpose flour. Then dip the floured rigatoni in the egg mixture. Lastly, place the batch in the breadcrumbs mixture to coat it with a crispy and seasoned mixture. Flip the rigatoni pieces to make sure that each of them is generously and evenly coated with bread crumbs mixture.

Step 6

In a deep skillet, add canola oil and heat it on medium-high flame until it reaches 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Then put the all-ready breaded rigatoni in the hot oil and fry for almost 3 minutes or until they turn crispy brown. Don’t forget to turn the pasta pieces upside down to make sure they are golden brown and crispy equally from all sides.

Step 7

Quickly line a plate with a paper towel and place the fried Ziti Fritta batch on it to remove excess oil. Transfer to a serving dish. Garnish with fresh herbs and grated parmesan cheese for extra earthy cheesiness.

Step 8

Stuffed Ziti Fritta is ready. Serve it with your favorite dipping sauce. Bon Appetit!
