  • Sugar: To make our rolls more realistic. you’ll also add some sugar to activate the yeast =  2 tsp
  • Eggs: Large & slightly beaten = 1
  • Flour: All-purpose goes perfectly well = 2 cups 
  • Xanthan gum: If you want to make your rolls gluten-free, you can add xanthan gum to your gluten-free flour =  1 1/2 tsp 
  • Salt = 1 tsp
  • Dry active yeast = 2 (1/4 – oz) 
  •  Melted Butter = 8 tsp
  • Flavored vegetable shortening butter = 2 tsp 
  • Warm water = 1 1/4 cup

Cinnamon Honey Butter

  • Sugar = 2 tsp
  • Butter = 2 tsp 
  • Honey = 1 – 2 tsp
  • Cinnamon = to taste 

Instructions for Making Logan’s Roadhouse Rolls Recipe Copycat

Following is a detailed description of the method on how to make Logan’s Roadhouse Rolls:

Step 1 

In a bowl of a mixer, combine the yeast, sugar, and warm water. Whisk lightly. Allow it to sit the mixture for about 10 to 15 minutes, till the yeast dissolves & begins to foam.

Step 2

In a mixing dish, combine the milk, sugar, eggs, salt, and butter. Mix everything lightly for around 1 minute with your mixer’s dough hook. Mix the flour, two or three cups at a time, then combine. Add sufficient flour to make a soft dough.

Step 3

Add more flour if necessary & mix till the dough pulls off the sides of your bowl.  Allow to rise the dough in a warm area until doubled in mass.

Step 4

Spray 2 baking sheets along with cooking spray. Preheat the oven to around 350 F degrees.

Punch up the dough & place it on a floured board. Divide it into two halves for shaping. Lay out the dough to approximately 1/2 inch thickness, cut out both ends to make a perfect rectangle, and then cut it into rectangles or squares. Repeat with the remaining dough; approximately 30 to 35 rolls will be obtained.

Bake your rolls for about 15–20 minutes. Then brush quickly with melted butter.
